We begin with the one of the most interesting museums of Athens, which is focused on the Parthenons marble decoration. In total 4000 exhibits help us understand this famous monument!
Then on foot we continue our walk through a historical neighboorhood, the one of Plaka. It is the oldest residential area in town, so that means it is a maze! You will get a sence of orientation and walk among the natives(many of who are owners of neoclassical mansions located in Plaka, worth millions!). With my help you will take in Athens's most picturesque part.
We will pass by the sites of ancient and roman Agora. You won't believe the views and photos you will able to take! . A short photo stop on both spots is included and of cource I will be there to give you the basic info! What's also fascinating is the street musicians we may bump on! You ll hear Zorba's tune played live!
-Roman and ancient Agora photo stops
All within the historical centre of the city, easily covered on foot!
This tour from the beginning to the end is done in a pedestrian area, so not (that many! ) cars and scooters around us.
You should expect ample of cafes and restaurants, as well as workshops specialized in pottery, embroidery, ancient Greek jewelry, even musical instruments and religious icons!
