The Musee de l'Orangerie is a must see attraction for art lovers. The Water Lilies, one of the famous works by Claude Monet and first conceptualized in 1909 can be found at Level 0--the ground floor--of this museum where it has been installed as part if an installation called " Rooms For Peaceful Mediation In The Midst Of A Flowering Aquarium". Separate yourself from the hustle outside with some relaxation time while looking over these beautiful paintings that will leave you speechless! 

Not only is the Metropolitan Museum of Art home to some amazing paintings by celebrated artists like Claude Monet, but also their collection includes masterful works such as Water Lilies and Pommes et biscuits.

Time:

The operating hours are from 9am to 6pm everyday, with last access at 5:15pm.

Orangerie Museum is not open on Tuesdays.

Free entry on the first Sunday monthly.

€17.50

Free entry for those who are under 18, and under 26 (EU citizens) with valid photo ID.

Our tickets are only for adults (+18 years old for non-EU citizens and +26 years old for EU citizens). If visitors qualify  for a free ticket, they will have to get it from the official museum website. We do not sell any complimentary tickets.

Transportation:

If you take the train:

To get to the Musée d'Orsay from central Paris, take the RER C Train Line and stop at Gare Musée d'Orsay Station. After exiting the station, cross the bridge ahead to reach the Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden). The museum is located at the west corner of this garden.

If you take the metro:

To get to the museum, ride on Metro Line 1, 8, or 12 and stop at Concorde Station. The journey from the station to the museum is a short walk.
