Hoboken History Half Day Tour
Completely undiscovered by tourists, Hoboken promises a truly unique experience.
This charming little town directly across the Hudson from Manhattan is steeped in history. First spotted by Henry Hudson in 1609, it came to prosperity in the 19th century when it became a playground for wealthy New Yorkers who came here to enjoy the beautiful countryside promenade - now a spectacular waterfront with breathtaking views of Manhattan.
I've been a Hobokenite for over 20 years during which I've discovered many fascinating stories that took place here - from the inventions that defined the modern world to one of the only few still unsolved murder mysteries that inspired Edgar Allen Poe. I will tell you stories of people who were born and lived in Hoboken and show you beautiful architecture. As a local, I know the best places to experience the taste of Hoboken, as a passionate historian, I'll invite you on a fascinating journey through history.
