Through a voyage in history we will talk about the gladiators game and the public activities that were led in the Roman Forum. We will find out about the Emperors, the conquests and the problems of one of the most prominent Empires in the world and the base of all western civilizations.
The Forum was the downtown of the Ancient city, the political, administrative and religious heart of Rome, it was the site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials, and gladiatorial matches; and the nucleus of commercial affairs. The Colosseum also known by the Romans as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was commissioned in AD 72 by Emperor Vespasian. It was completed by his son, Titus, in 80, with later improvements by Domitian.
